6th Annual NMCSD Traumatic Brain Injury Symposium

The 6th Annual NMCSD Traumatic Brain Injury Symposium is the premier educational event for healthcare providers who serve active duty service members, Veterans, and the community at large. The symposium is a collaborative effort between the Defense and Veterans Brain Injury Center (DVBIC) and the TBI Program at NMCSD. Participants will learn about current methods of diagnosis, the latest treatment modalities, and cutting edge research being conducted by DVBIC at NMCSD. Up to five continuing education units (CME/CNE/CE) will be awarded for attending this full-day event.
Topics for the 2019 symposium include:
* Cutting Edge TBI Research
* Military Acute Concussion Evaluation (MACE), Version 2
* Acupuncture for TBI Patients
* Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE)
* TBI and Substance Abuse
* Repetitive Blast Exposure
