ASL BABY SIGN LANGUAGE CLASS with Jennifer Duncan
September 6, 2017 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am
Prerequisite: 3-Class Foundation Series or instructor’s approvalOur Baby Sign Language Class is for families with little ones from birth to preschool age who already have a foundation in Baby Sign Language. (If that’s not you, check out our 3-class Foundation Series and our seasonal/holiday classes that don’t require a prerequisite.) In these classes, we will cover the signs for the essential elements of daily life with a baby, toddler and preschooler: mealtime, bedtime, bath time, potty learning, colors, things that go, animals (pets, zoo, farm & jungle), family members, clothes, feelings and much more. We will keep the communication flowing and add more useful signs to your repertoire by presenting vocabulary related to seasons and holidays throughout the year. These seasonal classes will be open to anyone with any signing experience. Look for “Prerequisite: None” in the description. All of these themes will be taught through a mixture of children’s books, songs, games and discussions. Support materials will be available to take home.
