Join us for a community workshop centered on educating, empowering, and encouraging women during pregnancy.

Pregnancy can be one of the most beautiful and empowering experiences and yet many also feel overwhelmed and lonely. Many women are looking for guidance not only to have the healthiest pregancy and newborn possible, but also to feel encouraged and supported from conception all the way through the often overlooked fourth trimester (postpartum).

Our experts at this workshop are all passionate about educating and supporting mothers to-be.

Jaclyn Diaz

Jaclyn Diaz has a passion for female empowerment and for everyone being their own advocate of your own health and wellness. Jaclyn leads several programs as the BIRTHFIT San Diego Regional Director, teaching Prenatal Education Class that discusses the physiology of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum that also facilitates mindset practices as part of the birth preparation. She loves working with women and meeting them where they are at in their motherhood transition.

Setting Roots Birth Services

Ali Feroah is a doula, photographer, and co-host of the new informative and funny birth and women’s health podcast, Birth Kweens. Ali began as a volunteer doula in 2013 at Best Start Birth Center, California’s first licensed and nationally accredited birth center. As both the Volunteer Doula Program Coordinator at Best Start and sole practitioner at her own business, Setting Roots Birth Services, Ali prescribes to an individualized and supportive model of care for her clients. Offering doula services in hospital, home, and birth center settings, Ali also provides birth photography, rebozo, and belly binding, as well as breastfeeding and postpartum support.
